You can simply cook [Vegan] French Toast in 8 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is cooking guidance how you can easily do it.
Ingredients
1 | Approximately 2 tablespoon of Chickpea flour. |
2 | Take 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon. |
3 | It's 1/2 tablespoon of mixed spice (or pumpkin pie spice mix). |
4 | Prepare 1/2 cup of rice milk (or dairy-free milk of choice). |
5 | About 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract. |
6 | Prepare 1 pinch of salt. |
7 | You need 1 tablespoon of vegan butter or mild-flavoured oil. |
8 | About 4 of thick slices of soft bread (white or wholegrain / gluten-free, if neeed). |
Cooking Instructions
Step 1 | Whisk the chickpea flour, spices, milk, vanilla and salt together in a shallow container.. |
Step 2 | Gently heat the butter or oil in a skillet.. |
Step 3 | Dip a slice of the bread into the mixture and coat well on each side. Place in the skillet and fry on medium heat for a minute on each side until golden brown.. |
Step 4 | Repeat with the other slices.. |
Step 5 | Serve with fruit, maple syrup, berries, yoghurt... and enjoy :-). |
